Dr MAFINI DOSSO
holds a PhD in Economist of Innovation and she is certified Project Management Professional PMP® (PMI, USA). Dr Dosso has more than 15 years of experience, including nine (09) years as an Economist and then Project leader at the European Commission’s JRC in Spain. She is also a Senior Consultant for Innovation in Africa for the World Intellectual Property Organisation (WIPO) and provides Innovation & Creativity trainings to African and French Executives and CEOs.
Her main research areas include
innovation policies, mapping of research and innovation systems, technological and industrial dynamics, start-ups, Industry 4.0, value chains and innovation networks. She has several academic, technical and policy publications on these topics covering sub-Saharan Africa and Europe. Dr Dosso is fluent in French, English and Spanish and holds a Doctorate in innovation economics and a master’s degree in industrial economics from the University of Paris I, Panthéon-Sorbonne, France.
Dr Dosso is also involved
in several non-profit organizations dedicated to innovators and entrepreneurs in Africa and act for the promotion of women in science, tech and business. Dr Dosso belongs to the leaders selected for the Africa 2.0 España & Ashoka First African Diaspora Leadership Program and she has also been recently selected for the United States Department of State-funded program “African Descent Social Entrepreneurs Network (ADSEN).
